This is an opportunity for citizens to address the City Council concerning an issue of community interest that is not on the agenda. Comments on the agenda items must be made when the agenda item comes before the Council. Any deliberation of the issue is limited to a proposal to place it on the agenda for a later meeting. Citizens will have up to 3 minutes to make comments.
5.Consent Agenda
All Consent Agenda items listed are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council member requests in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. Information concerning consent agenda items is available for public view.
A.Consider approval of the minutes of the Regular Session conducted on May 31, 2022.
B.Consider approval of the financial and investment reports. (April)
C.Consider approval of the financial and investment reports. (May)
6.Discuss and consider action on an agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for signal maintenance in the City of Bee Cave and other traffic related matters on TXDOT roadways.
7.Discuss and consider action on the Site & NPS Permit for the Keystone Bank, Lot 1C of the Ladera Ridge Sudivision, located at the northeast corner of RR 620 and East Ladera Blvd
8.Discuss and consider action on a site plan amendment for the BeeVet Animal Hospital located at 11817 Bee Cave Road
9.Public hearing, discussion and possible action on Ordinance No. 482 annexing 92.425 acre tract of land general located southeast of the Shops of the Galleria. (Cassandra Interests, Ltd.)
10.Public hearing, discuss and consider action regarding Ordinance No. 480, which repeals and replaces Ordinances No. 334 and 375, the zoning and development standards related to a planned development mixed-use district (PD-MU) know as “The Terraces,” with zoning and development standards for a new planned development multifamily and single-family attached residential district (PD-MF1 and SFA) know as “The Pearl,” the subject properties being generally located on Bee Cave Parkway at RM 620.
11.Discussion, and possible action to form a sub-committee of the City Council for The Pearl PDD, formerly known as the Terraces, to review a new planned development multifamily and single-family attached residential district (PD-MF1 and SFA), the subject properties being generally located on Bee Cave Parkway at RM 620.
12.Discuss and consider action on renewing the contract with Texas Municipal League Health Benefits Pool for employee health insurance and other benefits for fiscal year 2022-2023.
13.Discuss and consider action on Resolution No. 2022-04 in support of the Travis County Parks Department performing a feasibility study for a shared multi-use path alongside Hamilton Pool Rd. connecting City of Bee Cave pedestrian facilities and Travis County facilities including Hamilton Pool and West Cave Preserve.
14.Discuss and consider action to purchase a dump trailer in the amount of $12,549.5
15.Discuss and consider action on approval to purchase new AEDs (Automatic External Defibrillators) for the Police Department
16.Discussion, and possible action on Ordinance No. 475 Adopting a Unified Development Code.
17.Discussion and possible action on Ordinance No. 476 amending the Official Zoning Map of Bee Cave, Texas
18.Discuss and consider action on Ordinance No. 483, an ordinance repealing the City of Bee Cave Technical Construction Standards and Specifications Manual (TCSS) and adopting the City of Bee Cave Engineering Technical Manuals.
19.Discuss and consider action on Ordinance No. 484, an ordinance amending City of Bee Cave Code Chapter 24, Article 24.02 Technical and Construction Codes and Standards, Divisions 2-6 and 8-10 to update the editions of the standard construction codes and property maintenance code; and amending Division 7 ‘Fire Code’ to adopt the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC) and with Amendments endorsed by Emergency Services District No. 6 (LTFR)

 

20.Update and possible action on the Bee Cave Business Roundtable.

22.Open Executive Session
Executive session in accordance with the Texas Government Code, Section 551.071 - Consultation with Attorney regarding pending or contemplated litigation or a settlement offer, or on any matters in which the Attorney has a duty to the City under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct that clearly conflicts with the provisions of the Open Meetings Law. A quorum of the City Council will be present for the executive session.
A.Consultation with Attorney regarding pending litigation styled Goodwin v. Kara King, Mayor; Council members Andrea Willott, Jon Cobb, Andrew Clark, Kevin Hight and City of Bee Cave.
B.Deliberation regarding the potential acquisition of real property for public purposes

The Council may go into closed session at any time when permitted by Chapters 418 or 551, Texas Government Code, or Section 321.3022 of the Texas Tax Code. Before going into closed session a quorum of the Council must be present, the meeting must be convened as an open meeting pursuant to proper notice, and the presiding officer must announce that a closed session will be held and must identify the sections of Chapter 551 or 418, Texas Government Code, or Section 321.3022 of the Texas Tax Code authorizing the closed session.
